(fun facts: Frank J. Haynes was known as the ‘Official’ Park Photographer. In 1900 he produced his first set of ‘picture post cards’ and went on producing tens of thousands of these hand-tinted cards and stereo-views, many of which are now collector’s items. Frank and his family obtained exclusive rights to sell images of Yellowstone within the park until 1967, when the business was sold. There were 13 photo shops in the park at the time of sale.)
